Sunny and hot today but with continued low humidity! Partly sunny and hot on Wednesday and becoming quite humid with showers and possibly some strong to severe thunderstorms late in the day and at night! Chance of a morning shower on Thursday followed by cooler and less humid conditions! Sunny and pleasant on Friday! Becoming more humid over the weekend with a chance if showers and thunderstorms Saturday night into Sunday!

Skies are clear early on this Tuesday morning and it is cooler than the last several mornings with temperatures ranging from 65 in Clifton down to 51 at Walpack. Winds are light westerly. The air quality index is moderate with an index of 51.

High pressure over the area will give us a sunny and hot day today but with continued low humidity.

A warm front will move through the area on Wednesday and we will have another very hot and humid day on Wednesday with showers and thunderstorms developing mainly after 5 p.m. Some storms may become strong to severe. Hopefully we will finally get some well needed rain this time after missing the rain this past weekend.

A cold front will cross the area Thursday morning with a chance of an early shower then becoming sunny, cooler and much less humid

High pressure will give us a pleasant day on Friday.

More humid over the weekend with a chance of showers and thunderstorms Saturday night into Sunday. Sunday may again be quite hot.

Cooler and less humid on Monday along with sunny skies.

FRIDAY – JUNE 28 – Sunny, highs in the low 80s.

SATURDAY – JUNE 29 – Partly sunny with increasing humidity, highs in the low 80s. Chance of showers and possibly some thunderstorms at night.

SUNDAY – JUNE 30 – Partly sunny with a chance showers and possibly some thunderstorms, hot and humid, highs in the low90s.

MONDAY – JULY 1 – Sunny,, cooler and less humid, highs in the low 89s.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – West to northwest to winds 10 knots, seas 2-3 feet.

OUTLOOK: A small craft advisory has been posted effective between 8 p.m. tonight through 6 a.m.on Thursday. No advisories expected the rest of Thursday through Saturday.
