Skies are cloudy early on this Monday morning and there is considerable fog in the area. Temperatures range from 59 in Clifton down to 55 at High Point. Winds are calm or light easterly. The air quality is moderate with an index of 61.

A frontal system in our area along with an upper level low to our west will give us cloudy skies today with showers mainly this afternoon and tonight. High temperatures with the clouds and an onshore wind will keep readings in the 60s.
Heavier rain with possibly some thunderstorms on Tuesday as the front will still be in our area and the upper low moves slowly east to our area.
Some clearing Wednesday and Thursday as the upper low moves to our east but there still will be a chance of mainly afternoon and evening showers.
Friday will be chilly with a slight chance of rain as another upper low moves through our area.
At this point the weekend looks dry as high pressure builds over the area. Temperatures will be near normal.

TUESDAY – MAY 6- Cloudy with showers and possibly some thunderstorms, rain may be heavy at times, highs in the upper 60s. Total rainfall today through Tuesday will average 2-3 inches with higher amounts possibe.
WEDNESDAY – MAY 7 – Partly sunny with a chance of afternoon and evening showers, highs in the low 70s.
THURSDAY – MAY 8 – Partly sunny with a chance of afternoon and evening showers, highs in the low 70s.
FRIDAY – MAY 9 – Partly sunny and cool, highs in the low 60s.
SATURDAY – MAY 10 – Mostly sunny, highs in the upper 60s.
SUNDAY – MAY 11 – Mostly sunny, highs in the mid 70s.
