Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and there are some light showers mainly to the east of our area. Temperatures range from 54 in Clifton down to 48 at Sandyston. Winds are mainly calm. The air quality is good with an index of 46.

The low pressure system that gave us the clouds and rain the last couple of days is moving off to our northeast as high pressure builds into our area. Skies will become mostly sunny with milder temperatures today with only a slight chance of a shower.

Thursday will start off dry and mild but another low pressure system will likely give us showers and possibly some thunderstorms after 2 p.m.

The low pressure area will be over our area on Friday giving us cloudy skies with showers and some thunderstorms, some storms may produce some heavy rain with rainfall amounts between 1-2 inches with some higher amounts possible.

High pressure will then build over our area on the weekend giving us mostly sunny skies both days with seasonably mild tempertures.

Mainly dry and mild weather early next week but another low pressure system may give us some showers Tuesday night.

TODAY – MAY 7 – Becoming mostly sunny, highs in the mid 70s.

TONIGHT – Partly to mostly cloudy, lows in the mid 50s.

THURSDAY – MAY 8 – Partly sunny in the morning then mostly cloudy in the afternoon with showers likely and possibly some thunderstorms after 2 p.m., highs in the mid 70s.

FRIDAY – MAY 9 – Cloudy with showers and possibly some thunderstorms, rain may be heavy at times, highs in the low 60s, Rainfall amounts averaging 1-2 inches with higher amounts possible.

SATURDAY – MAY 10 – Mostly sunny, highs near 70.

SUNDAY – MAY 11 – Mostly sunny, highs in the upper 70s.

MONDAY – MAY 12 – Mostly sunny, highs in the mid 70s.

TUESDAY – MAY 13 – Partly sunny, highs in the mid 70s, chance of showers at night.
