Skies are mostly clear early on this Friday morning and it is quite mild with readings ranging from 70 in Clifton down to 61 at Sandyston and Hackettstown. Winds are calm or light southwesterly. The air quality is moderate with an index of 68.

After having our first 90 temperature of the year yesterday, today will not be quite as warm with more clouds as a slow moving cold front approaches from the west. Skies will be partly sunny and there will be a chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms.

The front will move through the area on Saturday with showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm, high temperatures will be lower but the humidity will remain high.

Sunday should be less humid but a disturbance to our south will give us a chance of rain Sunday night.

Weak high pressure will then build in briefly for Monday and we should remain dry but with mostly cloudy skies.

Another frontal system will likely give us showers Tuesday into Tuesday night.

Dry weather is then expected for the rest of next week with warm temperatures.
