Mostly sunny with more record high temperatures likely today! Not as warm with low chance of afternoon and evening showers on Friday! Partly sunny and mild on Saturday! Cool with showers likely on Sunday! Much cooler early next week with some frost and freezes likely early Tuesday morning!

Good morning everyone!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and temperatures are once again unseasonably mild with readings ranging from 69 in Clifton down to 59 at Sandyston and Walpack. The winds are light and variable. The air quality is good with an index of 30.

CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR APRIL 16TH:

AVERAGE HIGH: 61 AVERAGE LOW: 42

RECORD HIGH: 89 – 2012 RECORD LOW: 28 – 2014

YESTERDAY’S HIGH 89 (New Record) LOW: 64 PRECIPITATION: NONE

Another day with some record high temperatures are likely again today as the Bermuda high pressure continues a southwest flow of unseasonably warm air. Skies should be mostly sunny. The record of 89 was recorded in 2002 and 2012 and we should be close to this record.

A weak cold front will give us a low chance of showers Friday afternoon and evening and temperatures will be lower but still well above normal with highs near 80.

Cooler on Saturday as we have more of an onshore flow, skies will be partly sunny.

A stronger cold front is likely to cause some showers on Sunday.

Canadian high pressure will give us much cooler air for early next week. Early morning temperatures on Tuesday will be near freezing especially inland.

Dry with moderating temperatures by Wednesday.
