One last day of this impressive May heatwave as the Bermuda high pressure moves further off the Carolina coast and a strong cold front approaches from the west. We should see an increase in clouds during the day with showers and thunderstorms are likely after 2 p.m.
Much cooler on Thursday but we will have a chance of lingering light showers mainly in the morning as the front moves further to the south.
Canadian high pressure will give us a dry and cool Friday.
The front to our south will gradually move to our north causing an onshore flow of cool air along with showers Saturday and Sunday. No good weather for the holiday weekend but we do need the rain.
Slightly milder on Memorial Day but there will still be a chance of a shower.
