CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR MAY 22ND:

AVERAGE HIGH: 73 AVERAGE LOW: 54

RECORD HIGH: 93 – 2022 RECORD LOW: 39 – 2002

YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 64 LOW: 54 PRECIPITATION: .11″

High pressure north of the Great Lakes will give us a northerly flow of cool air today. Skies will be mostly cloudy to cloudy but we should stay dry through tonight.

An extended period of rain Saturday and Sunday and although we need the rain it is unfortunate that it is falling over the holiday weekend. High pressure to our north and a low pressure system to our south will give us an onshore flow of chilly air. Rainfall amounts will average 1-2 inches with some higher amounts possible.

It should be milder on Memorial Day but there will still be a chance of showers.

High pressure will then dominate our weather for much of the rest of next week with dry conditions along with warmer temperatures.
