High pressure off the southeast coast will give us a light westerly flow of very hot and humid air today and again on Friday. Highs both days will be in the middle 90s and with dew points near 70 will cause heat indexes to reach around 105 degrees. A heat advisory is in effect. Also there is a chance of a mainly evening thunderstorm that may become quite strong. A better chance of late day and evening strong to severe thunderstorms on Friday as a cold front approaches our area.
The weekend weather will be mainly dry but continued hot with highs both days near 90 but the humidity will be lower with dew points in the 50s.
Not as hot with continued rather comfortable humidity through the middle of next week with a low chance of showers Tuesday and Wednesday.
