Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Friday morning and there are some heavy showers falling in most of the area. In fact heavy rain with some flash flooding was reported over northern Passaic county. Temperatures range from 65 in Clifton down to 60 at High Point. Winds are light and variable. The air quality is good with an index of 49.

A disturbance along a front will move offshore this morning and showers should end by 7 a.m. Skies will then remain mostly cloudy with warm temperatures and somewhat more humid air than what we had the last couple of days.

A cold front will move to our south Friday night and a disturbance along the front will give us a good chance of showers through Saturday afternoon, rainfall should be on the light side.

Sunday looks to be a very nice summer day as high pressure builds into our area giving us plenty of sunshine along with seasonably warm temperatures.

Mainly dry next week with a warming trend. High temperatures will be in the upper 80s on Monday, the low 90s on Tuesday and the mid 90s Wednesday through Friday. The only chance of showers will be in the afternoon and evening on Tuesday.
