The front to our south that gave us yesterday’s rain will move further south as high pressure builds into our area from the north. Today we should some sunshine after early morning cloudiness. Temperatures will be seasonably warm with moderate humidity as dew points will be mostly in the 60s. Winds will be light and variable.
Dry and quite warm Monday and Tuesday as high pressure slowly moves into our area.
Extreme heat is expected Wednesday through Friday with high temperatures near or above 100 each day. Heat indexes will approach 110 and an extreme heat warning will likely be issued for this time period. We should stay dry.
A bit less hot on Independence Day and there will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms as a cold front approaches the area.
