Strong high pressure continues over eastern Canada as a coastal storm develops just offshore. We should stay dry today through the day on Friday but it will continue to be windy.
As the storm moves slowly up the coast it will be quite windy with a chance of showers Friday night then showers likely Saturday afternoon through the day on Sunday. Shore areas will have the greatest impacts with stronger winds and moderate coastal flooding.
We dry out with much less wind Monday through Wednesday with a milder trend as high pressure builds into our area.
