Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Friday morning and it is cooler than the last several mornings with temperatures at 5 a.m. ranging from 61 in Clifton down to 52 at High Point. Winds are light easterly and the humidity is low.

High pressure off the New England coast will give us a light onshore flow of cool air, skies will be partly sunny. There is a slight chance of a light shower today but most areas will remain dry.
Saturday will be a mostly cloudy day with an onshore flow continuing, temperatures will be slightly below normal. Again there is a slight chance of a shower but most areas will remain dry.
A weakening frontal system will give us a chance of afternoon and evening showers on Sunday. Temperatures will continue to be slightly below normal with highs mainly in the mid 70s.
A little warmer Monday and Tuesday but the chance of showers will continue as the front moves through the area.
High pressure should then dominate our weather Wednesday and Thursday with plenty of sunshine both days along with low humidity and near seasonable temperatures.
