Mostly sunny, cooler and much less humid today! Mainly dry and comfortable Friday and Saturday! Chance of afternoon showers on Sunday along with seasonably warm temperatures!

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and tempertures at 5 a.m. range from 72 in Clifton down to 64 at Walpack, winds are mainly calm. With not many clouds we should see a nice partial solar eclipse at dawn this morning.

A cold front is sagging to our south this morning and we should have a mostly sunny day today with high temperatures in the 80s, along with much lower humidity. It will be a nice change after our five day early June heat wave.

Mainly dry weather Friday and Saturday with temperatures at or slightly below normal.

A weak frontal system may cause some afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms on Sunday, highs will be around 80.

Dry weather is then expected Monday through Wednesday with near normal temperatures continuing as there is no sign of another heat wave for at least the next two weeks.

TUESDAY – JUNE 15 – Mostly sunny, high in the low 80s.

WEDNESDAY – JUNE 16 – Sunny, high near 80.

MARINE FORECAST: TODAY – East-northeast wind to 15 knots, seas 1 foot.

OUTLOOK – Possible advisories for higher seas Friday and Saturday; no advisories expected for Sunday and Monday.
