Skies are mostly clear early on this Friday morning and temperatures at 5 a.m. are nearly 20 degrees colder than this time yesterday with readings ranging from 18 in Clifton down to 10 at High Point. Winds are from the northwest averaging 5-10 mph.

High pressure in our area will give us a sunny day today with chilly temperatures but with much less wind than yesterday.

As the high pressure moves off the coast a light southwesterly flow will give our area milder temperatures on Saturday despite mostly cloudy skies.

A warm front will pass north of the region on Sunday accompanied by some light showers mainly in the morning, temperatures will rise well up into the 60s with some 70 degree readings possible, skies will remain mostly cloudy.

A frontal system will likely give us rain on Monday, temperatures should be a little lower but still well above normal.

Dry weather with slightly above normal temperatures Tuesday and Wednesday.

Another frontal system will give us another good chance of rain Thursday into Friday.

MONDAY – MAR 7 – Cloudy with rain, high near 60.

TUESDAY – MAR 8 – Partly sunny, high near 50.

WEDNESDAY – MAR 9 – Mostly sunny, high near 50.

THURSDAY – MAR 10 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain, high in the upper 40s.
