CLIFTON’S WEATHER ALMANAC FOR AUGUST 7TH.

RECORD HIGH: 95 – 2001 RECORD LOW: 51 – 1994

YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 78 LOW: 69 PRECIPITATION: .03″

A weak disturbance gave us light rain overnight but that system is moving offshore as high pressure off the New England coast builds into our area. Skies should become mostly sunny and temperatures will be near normal with low humidity. Also there will be less haze and improved air quality.

The high pressure will continue to give us sunny skies on Friday with continued near seasonable temperatures and light winds.

As the high pressure moves over us we should have a slight warming trend over the weekend with plenty of sunshine both days and the humidity will still be low.

Hot and more humid air as the high pressure moves off the coast and we will have a southwesterly flow. There is only a low chance of some afternoon or evening showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday otherwise we will stay dry.
