Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy early on this Saturday morning and there are some light showers across the northwestern part of the state. Temperatures are warm with readings ranging from 73 in Clifton down to 66 at Sandyston and High Point. Winds are calm or light south-southeasterly. The air quality is moderate with an index of 62.

High pressure moving off the coast will give us a warm and humid day. Skies will be mostly cloudy this morning then become mostly sunny this afternoon, a weak disturbance may cause a shower this afternoon but most places it will remain dry.
A cold front will come through our area Sunday evening preceded by a southwest flow of hot and humid air. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms as the front moves through Sunday evening.
Cooler and mainly dry weather next week with only a low chance of showers Tuesday night into Wednesday. Hurricane Erin is expected to remain well offshore and should cause high seas and dangerous rip currents along our coast.
