Temperatures are unseasonably mild with readings ranging from 70 in Clifton down to 66 at High Point. The humidity is high also with dew points near 70. Winds are calm or light south-southeast. The air quality is moderate with an index of 52.

A southerly flow of very humid air will be with us today along with mainly cloudy skies. Showers and thunderstorms are expected through tonight with some heavy rain possible. Rainfall amounts will average around 1 inch with higher amounts possible.
A cold front will come through early Friday morning and we should have clearing skies after early morning cloudiness. Temperatures will be above normal and it will still be a little humid.
During the day on Saturday skies will be mostly cloudy and another front may cause some showers Saturday night into Sunday morning.
High pressure will then build into the area Monday with dry conditions continuing through Wednesday. Temperatures will be above normal on Monday, near normal on Tuesday and then below normal on Wednesday.
