Skies are clear early on this Saturday morning and temperatures are a few degrees milder in most areas with readings ranging from 57 in Clifton down to 44 at Hackettstown. Winds are calm or light southwesterly. The air quality is moderate with an index of 55.

High pressure to our south will give us a mainly southwesterly flow of unseasonable warm air this weekend along with sunny skies both days.

The warm weather will continue Monday and Tuesday along with mostly sunny skies.

A cold front will cross the area on Wednesday likely accompanied by some showers.

A strong high pressure will then build into our area for the end of the week giving us cool and dry weather.

SUNDAY – OCT 5 – Sunny, highs in the mid 80s.

WEDNESDAY – OCT 8 – Mostly cloudy and not as warm with showers likely mainly before 2 p.m., highs in the low 70s.

FRIDAY – OCT 10 – Mostly sunny, highs in the upper 60s.
