Good morning everyone!

Skies are mainly clear early on this Thursday morning and temperatures range from 30 in Clifton to 18 at Pequest. Winds are calm or light southwesterly. The air quality is moderate with an index of 58.

CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR DECEMBER 4TH:

AVERAGE HIGH: 48 AVERAGE LOW: 30

RECORD HIGH: 71 – 1998 RECORD LOW: 9 – 1989

YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 42 LOW: 28 PRECIPITATION: NONE

Today will be a partly sunny day and it will become breezy as a cold front comes through dry later this afternoon. The front will be followed by a strong northwest flow of much colder air as we expect the lowest temperatures so far this season with overnight lows in the teens.

Friday we will see an increase in clouds and it will remain quite cold although there will be much less wind. A low pressure system well south of our area may touch off some light snow or flurries at night.

Moderating temperatures but still below normal temperatures for the weekend as weak high pressure moves through the area. An Arctic cold front will come through dry at night.

An Arctic high pressure will then give us much colder weather early next week. Another weak low pressure system will give us another low chance of snow Tuesday night into Wednesday.
