Skies are mostly cloudy to cloudy early on this Thursday morning and temperatures are quite mild with readings ranging from 41 in Clifton down to 32 at Sussex and Walpack. Winds are calm or light northwesterly. The air quality is good with an index of 25.

Today will be a very pleasant winter day with skies becoming mostly sunny along with mild temperatures and light winds as high pressure will be over the area.

The high pressure will then move offshore on Friday and a frontal system will be approaching from the west. We will have an increase in clouds with rain developing by evening. Temperatures will continue to be mild.

Saturday will be a wet but mild day with rain moderate at times especially in the afternoon and at night as the frontal system will be in our area. Rainfall amounts will be between 1 and 1 1/2 inches.

The rain should end by daybreak on Sunday with clearing by the afternoon.

Mainly dry Monday through Wednesday and although it will be cooler the temperatures will still be above normal for mid January.
