Skies are partly cloudy early on this Friday morning and temperatures range from 33 in Clifton down to 28 at Basking Ridge. Winds are mainly calm. The air quality is moderate with an index of 58.

High pressure is moving off the coast and will cause a brisk southerly flow of mild air today. A frontal system approaching from the west will give us a chance of rain showers late this afternoon and evening.

Saturday should start off dry but a stronger low pressure system will give us rain in the afternoon and continuing into early Sunday morning.

High pressure will then move into the region Sunday afternoon but it will become breezy.

Mainly dry with above normal temperatures Monday through Wednesday as high pressure dominates our weather.

A cold front moving into the area on Thursday will give our area a chance of rain or snow showers.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain showers in the evening, lows near 40.

SUNDAY – JAN 11 – Chance of rain in the morning then becoming mostly sunny and breezy, highs in the upper 40s, wind gusts to 30 mph.
