Skies are cloudy early on this Monday morning and there are some snow flurries falling in parts of the area. Temperatures range from 18 in Clifton down to 11 at High Point and Vernon. Winds are out of the north around 10 mph. The air quality is good with an index of 19.

The storm that gave us the heavy snow and sleet yesterday is moving off shore, we will have cloudy skies this morning with some flurries possible, then we should see some sunshine this afternoon along with breezy conditions. High temperatures will reach the balmy upper 20s and may be the mildest day of this upcoming week.
A long duration of bitterly cold weather Tuesday through next weekend. Most highs will be in the low 20s with lows in the single digits. We should stay dry through much of this period but some computer models indicate that we may have another snowstorm on Sunday.

OUTLOOK: A freezing spray advisory will be in effect from 6 p.m. this evening through 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon; no advisories expected for Wednesday; advisories probably for Thursday and Friday.
