Skies are mainly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and temperatures are mild with readings ranging from 45 in Clifton down to 39 at High Point. Winds are mainly from the south. The air quality is good with an index of 41.

High pressure offshore will give us a south-southwesterly flow of quite mild air. Temperatures should rise into the low 70s as morning clouds give way to mostly sunny skies. It will become breezy by this afternoon.
A cold front will cross the area overnight causing increasing cloudiness this evening with rain late tonight into early Friday morning followed by a northerly flow of cooler air. Rainfall amounts will average between 1/4 to 1/2 inch.
Friday will be cooler with a brisk northerly flow and skies will remain mostly cloudy.
Dry but chilly weather for the weekend. Lows early Saturday and Sunday morning will dip to near 30 degrees. Highs on Saturday will be only in the 40s but rise to the 50s by Sunday afternoon.
Milder Monday through Wednesday but a front in our area will give us chances of rain late Monday night through the day on Wednesday.
