Skies are partly cloudy early on this Monday morning and temperatures are more than 10 degrees milder than this time yesterday with readings ranging from 44 in Clifton down to 35 at Hackettstown. Winds are calm or light southerly. The air quality is good with and index of 27.

High pressure off the coast will give us a south-southwesterly flow of milder air today along with partly sunny skies.

A warm front will move through our area Tuesday morning possibly accompanied by some showers. Then it will become quite mild with highs well up into the 70s despite mostly cloudy skies.

Unseasonably warm on Wednesday ahead of a cold front that will come through at night with showers and possibly some strong thunderstorms. The high temperature will be near 80 degrees.

A cooler onshore wind is expected for Thursday along with a continued chance of showers.

The front will be near our area Friday through the weekend with a chance of showers each day. Temperatures should be above normal through this period.

FRIDAY – APR 3 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, highs in the upper 60s.

SATURDAY – APR 4 – Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers, highs in the upper 60s.
