Skies are mostly sunny on this not so early Monday morning and temperatures now range from 70 in Clifton down to 59 at High Point. Winds are a little gusty out of the northwest. The air quality is good with an index of 30.

High pressure building from the Midwest will give us a sunny day today with a nice breeze and low humidity.

The high pressure will then be nearly over our area on Tuesday with continued sunny skies along with low humidity but with less wind.

A warm front will cross the area on Wednesday possibly accompanied by some showers.

Warmer and more humid on Thursday with a chance of showers and possibly some strong thunderstorms. A cold front will cross the area late at night.

Still a chance of a shower on Friday with cooler temperatures and low humidity.

High pressure should dominate our weather for the weekend giving us with seasonably warm temperatures and low humidity.
