Skies are partly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and it is warm and very humid with temperatures ranging from 74 in Clifton down to 70 at Walpack, dew points are in the oppressive low 70s. The winds are calm or light southerly. The air quality is good with an index of 43.

Bermuda high pressure offshore will give our area a south-southwest flow of very warm and humid air but we should stay dry today. With temperatures near 90 and dew points in the 70s will bring heat indexes up to 105 degrees and a heat advisory is in effect.

Friday will still be very warm and humid with a low chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Showers will be likely at night with a chance of some thunderstorms. A heat advisory will remain in effect.

The weekend into Monday looks dry but continued quite warm with a little less humidity as winds become more westerly around the Bermuda high pressure.

A cold front will give us a chance of showers on Tuesday followed by clearing and cooler weather with much less humidity on Wednesday.
