CLIFTON’S ALMANAC FOR AUGUST 19TH:

AVERAGE HIGH: 82 AVERAGE LOW: 65

RECORD HIGH: 93 – 2019 RECORD LOW: 54 – 2000

YESTERDAY’S HIGH: 87 LOW: 71 PRECIPITATION: .07″

Weak high pressure moving into our area today will give us a sunny day with warm temperatures but with lower humidity than yesterday with dew points in the low to mid 60s.

A slow moving cold front will likely give us heavy showers and possibly some thunderstorms Thursday afternoon and evening that may cause some flash flooding in some spots. High temperatures will be lower but the humidity will be a little higher.

Another weak high pressure will give our area a pleasant summer day on Friday with seasonably warm temperatures and humidity.

Unfortunately the weather for the weekend looks unsettled with a good chance of showers both Saturday and Sunday as waves of low pressure will be moving through our area.

High pressure returns for early next week with again pleasant temperatures and humidity along with sunny skies both Monday and Tuesday.
