Skies are mainly cloudy early on this Sunday morning and a line of showers and thunderstorms are moving towards our area from Eastern Pennsylvania. Temperatures range from 68 in Clifton down to 63 at Vernon. Winds are calm or light easterly. The air quality is good with an index of 36.

A frontal system is moving into our area today giving us showers and possibly some thunderstorms this morning. The cold front associated with this system will move through early this afternoon followed by clearing skies by later this afternoon or this evening.
High pressure will then dominate our weather Monday through Wednesday giving our area very pleasant summer weather with plenty of sunshine each day along with seasonably warm temperatures and low humidity.
Another frontal system will give us a chance of showers and thunderstorms Thursday afternoon with showers likely Thursday night. Still a chance of showers on Friday followed by clearing weather for the start of next weekend.

TODAY – AUG 23 – Mostly cloudy with showers and possibly some thunderstorms this morning, some storms may be accompanied by gusty winds and heavy rain. Becoming mostly sunny this afternoon with still a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the early afternoon, highs in the low 80s.

MONDAY – AUG 24 – Sunny, highs near 80.
TUESDAY – AUG 25 – Sunny, highs near 80.
WEDNESDAY – AUG 26 – Sunny, highs in the low 80s.
THURSDAY – AUG 27 – Partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, highs in the low 80s. Showers likely and a chance of thunderstorms at night.
FRIDAY – AUG 28 – Mostly cloudy in the morning then becoming partly sunny in the afternoon with a chance of showers, highs in the mid 80s.
