Snow showers to continue today! Much improved weather tomorrow into early next week!


At daybreak this morning we have cloudy skies with some light flurries falling, temperatures range from around 30 degrees in the Clifton area to the upper 20s further inland, we received a coating of snow since yesterday.

Today the storm that has been affecting our weather the last few days is still sitting stationary over New England, we will continue to have occasional snow showers during the day today, another coating of snow is possible especially further inland.

Finally the storm will move away and we should have clearing on Friday with seasonably cool temperatures.

A nice weekend is in store for us with dry conditions and highs in the 40s.

Dry weather and seasonably mild conditions are likely into early next week with the next chance of precipitation will be around Tuesday night or Wednesday.

 

THE FORECAST:

TODAY – Cloudy with snow showers, accumulations less than 1/2 inch, high in the upper 30s.

TONIGHT – Mostly cloudy with occasional flurries, low in the upper 20s.

FRIDAY – Partly sunny, high near 40.

SATURDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the low 40s.

SUNDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the mid 40s.

MONDAY – Mostly sunny, high in the upper 40s.

TUESDAY – Mostly cloudy, high in the upper 40s  Chance of rain or snow at night.

WEDNESDAY – Mostly cloudy, high in the mid 40s.

 

MARINE FORECAST:  Small craft advisory in effect till 5pm on Friday for west winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 4-6 feet this morning diminishing to 3-4 feet by this afternoon.

OUTLOOK – Advisories possible Friday night into Saturday with no advisories expected Sunday and Monday.
