Today will be a dry day with mostly sunny skies, temperatures and humidity will be a little lower today as a weak cold front pushes to our south.

The front will return as a warm front bringing more humid air back into our area by daybreak on Wednesday along with a good chance of showers and thunderstorms that will continue on Thursday.

A stronger cold front will cross the area late Thursday or early on Friday followed by a much cooler and drier air mass.

Very pleasant late August weather will be with us over the weekend with seasonably cool temperatures and low humidity.

Today will be another hot and humid day as high pressure is off the coast and a southerly flow dominates. A weak cold front approaching our area this afternoon will give us a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening, some storms may contain heavy rain and gusty winds.

Tuesday will be a little less hot and humid as the cold front moves to our south, there still will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Hot and humid weather Wednesday as the front will move to our north as a warm front, more numerous showers and thunderstorms are likely in the afternoon and at night.

A stronger cold front will cross the area on Thursday still giving our area a chance of showers, followed by less humid air by the afternoon.

Very pleasant weather Friday through the weekend with cooler and much less humid air.

A light southerly flow from high pressure offshore will give us a hot and humid day today. There is a chance of afternoon or evening showers and thunderstorms with the best chance of rain inland. Temperatures will rise to near 90 and with dew points in the low 70s will make it feel well up into the 90s. Skies will be mostly cloudy early then becoming partly sunny.

Hot and humid weather is expected to continue Monday through Wednesday with a chance of mainly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms each day.

A strong cold front is expected to cross the area late Wednesday night or Thursday morning followed by cooler and much less humid air. There will be a chance of showers on Thursday but dry weather should prevail Friday into next weekend.

Today will be a partly sunny day and it will be warm and humid. There is a low chance of a stray shower this afternoon and evening, but most of the area will remain dry. High pressure will be moving off the coast.

Monday should be the hottest day of next week with mainly dry conditions, although there is a low chance of an afternoon or evening shower and thunderstorm, temperatures well up into the 90s and with dew points in the low 70s will make it feel around 100.

High pressure over New England will give us a partly sunny day. It will be a little cooler today with an onshore wind but the humidity will gradually rise by late in the day and evening.
