Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures range from the upper 50s in Clifton down to the upper 40s further inland, winds are mainly calm.

Yesterday I recorded .25 inches of rain in last night’s showers.

High pressure building into our area will give us a partly sunny day today with temperatures a little cooler than yesterday.

Dry but with increasing cloudiness on Thursday, it will be cooler with an onshore wind.

A warm front will approach the area Thursday night with rain developing mainly after midnight continuing into Friday morning. A cold front will then cause showers Friday afternoon and at night. Rainfall amounts of 1/4-1/2 inch possible.

Saturday looks to be the best day of the upcoming weekend with dry conditions and mild temperatures.

Still another frontal system will likely give us rain Sunday into Monday, temperatures will be cool. Rain may be heavy with 1-2 inches possible.

Dry weather then returns for Tuesday with seasonably mild temperatures.

Today we should have some sunshine and it will be pleasantly warm, but a cold front approaching the area will give us a chance of showers and thunderstorms, with the best chance to be between 5-8 p.m.

The cold front will cross the area late tonight and high pressure will build in behind the front. Wednesday will be a cooler day and it should be partly sunny.

Most of Thursday will be dry and cool but a warm front may touch off some light rain by late in the day and night, skies will be mostly cloudy.

A warm front will push north of the area on Friday with some light rain, a cold front will then cross the area at night accompanied by some showers.

Saturday looks to be a dry day with seasonably mild temperatures.

Another low pressure area will give us a chance of moderate rain from late Sunday into Monday.

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Monday morning and temperatures range from the low 50s in Clifton down to the mid 40s further inland, winds are light northerly.

We received more rain than I forecasted yesterday as 1.77″ fell.

The low pressure that gave us the rain yesterday is moving offshore as a weak high pressure builds in from the west. We should have partly sunny skies with only a slight chance of a shower but most if not all of the area will remain dry.

Tuesday will be a warm day, but a cold front crossing the area will cause some shower and thunderstorm activity in the late afternoon into the early part of tomorrow evening.

Cooler but dry on Wednesday.

Another frontal system will likely give us rain from late Thursday through Friday night. Temperatures will be cool on Thursday but warmer on Friday as a warm front pushes to our north, followed by a cold front late Friday.

At this point Saturday looks to be dry but another low pressure system will give us a chance of rain on Mother’s Day.

Low pressure will move to our south today and offshore tonight, rain from this system will fall throughout the day and into tonight before ending. Rainfall amounts will be around one inch. Temperatures will be steady mostly in the upper 50s.

High pressure building into the area will provide our area with mostly sunny skies and mild temperatures on Monday.

Tuesday will be warm and mainly dry, but a cold front approaching the area may touch off some afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms.

Wednesday should be dry and cooler as another high pressure moves into our area.

Still another low pressure will likely give us rain Thursday into Friday, temperatures will be cool on Thursday but warmer on Friday.

At this point next weekend looks to be dry with mild temperatures.

Skies are mostly cloudy early on this Saturday morning and temperatures are mainly in the low to mid 50s across the area. Winds are calm or light easterly. Around a half of inch of rain fell in overnight showers and thunderstorms.

The disturbance that gave us the rain overnight is moving offshore and today will be mostly cloudy but it will be milder with temperatures around 10 degrees warmer than yesterday. There will be a slight chance of a shower but most of the area will remain dry.

A stronger low pressure area will be moving to our south on Sunday, rain will develop after midnight tonight and continue through most of the day before ending by Sunday evening. Rainfall amounts of around 3/4 of an inch is likely.

Monday and Tuesday looks to be fine spring days with mild temperatures and plenty of sunshine both days.

Unsettled weather returns for the middle and the later part of next week with showers possible along with cooler than normal temperatures.
