Good morning everyone!   It is quite mild across the area early this morning as a warm front has moved to our north, temperatures range from around 60 in Clifton to the mid 40s further inland, skies are mostly clear and there is a light southwest wind.

After weeks of chilly weather today will feature plenty of sunshine with temperatures rising to around 80, winds will be from the southwest.

Most of Saturday will be warm but a backdoor cold front will be crossing the area in the late afternoon or early evening, the NAM model continues to have the front come through earlier in the day which would limit the high temperatures with highs around 60, however most other models have it front come through later and temperatures would once again rise well up into the 70s.

Much cooler Saturday night into Sunday behind the cold front as a brisk easterly wind and cloudy skies will keep high temperatures mostly in the 40s, there is also a chance of light rain or drizzle during the day.

A strong low pressure will move into the area on Monday giving us rain heavy at times with a chance of thunderstorms, rainfall amounts of 1-2 inches are expected.

Tuesday will be chilly and breezy on the back side of the low.

Mainly dry weather for Wednesday and Thursday with near or slightly below normal temperatures.

TODAY – APR 13 – Becoming mostly sunny and warm, high near 80.

TONIGHT – Mostly clear, low in the upper 50s.

SATURDAY – APR 14 – Increasing cloudiness, high in the upper 70s, much cooler at night with a chance of light rain mainly after 9 p.m.

SUNDAY – APR 15 – Cloudy and chilly with periods of light rain or drizzle likely, highs only in the mid 40s.

MONDAY – APR 16 – Cloudy with showers and possible thunderstorms, rain may be heavy at times, high near 60.

TUESDAY – APR 17 – Mostly cloudy and cool, high near 50.

WEDNESDAY – APR 18 – Mostly sunny, high near 60.

THURSDAY – APR 19 – Partly sunny, high near 60.

MARINE FORECAST:  A small craft advisory is in effect until 8 a.m. Saturday morning for southwest winds gusting to 30 knots, seas 5-8 feet.

OUTLOOK – Small craft advisories with gales possible Saturday through Monday.

Good morning!  Skies have become mostly cloudy early this morning and temperatures are milder than the last few morning with readings ranging from the low 40s in Clifton to the low 30s further inland, winds are light.

A warm front will be moving through the area this afternoon giving our area mostly cloudy skies with a low chance of a shower, southwest winds behind the front will become gusty this afternoon, temperatures however will become mild with highs reaching the 60s.

Quite warm on Friday with high temperatures approaching the 80 degree mark, southwest winds will continue to be gusty.

Some questions on how warm it will get on Saturday as a backdoor cold front approaches the area,  the GFS model has the front stay north of us with highs in the upper 70s while the NAM model has the front come through in the afternoon with highs only in the low 60s.

Sunday will be much cooler with rain developing in the afternoon and continuing into Monday as a strong low moves into the area, the rain may be heavy at times with 1-2 inches expected.

Tuesday will be cool and mainly dry.

A weak warm front will approach the area on Wednesday with a shower possible and continued cool temperatures.

MARINE FORECAST – A gale warning is posted effective from 5 p.m this afternoon through 2 a.m. Friday morning for southwest winds gusting to 35 knots, seas 5-8 feet.

OUTLOOK – Small craft conditions are expected to continue Friday through Saturday night; no advisories expected during the day on Sunday; small craft conditions again expected Sunday night with gales possible on Monday.

Today will start off mostly sunny but with increasing cloudiness this afternoon, temperatures will top off in the mid 50s which is about five degrees cooler than normal.

A weak warm front will move through the area on Thursday bringing in milder air despite considerable amounts of clouds.

Much warmer and dry Friday and Saturday with highs reaching well up into the 70s.

A backdoor cold front will come through Saturday night and Sunday will be much cooler with rain developing, highs on Sunday will only reach the upper 40s to the low 50s.

Rain will be heavy at times with cool temperatures Sunday night into Monday with 1-2 inches of rain possible.

Some showers will persist into Tuesday along with cooler than normal temperatures.

Good morning!  Skies are cloudy early this morning and there is some very light rain or snow falling in parts of the area, temperatures range from the middle 30s in Clifton to near 30 further inland, winds are mainly calm.  A dusting of snow has been reported inland mainly on grassy surfaces otherwise the roads are just wet.

Very light rain and snow will be ending near daybreak and we should see some clearing by this afternoon, high today will be around 50 which is about 10 degrees cooler than normal.

High pressure building into the area on Wednesday giving us dry conditions with temperatures a couple of degrees higher than today.

A warm front will be crossing the area on Thursday with milder conditions.

Very warm Friday and Saturday as a southwest flow develops off a Bermuda high offshore, temperatures will be well up into the 70s and close to 80 in some of the warmer spots.

A backdoor cold front is expected to move to our south on Sunday with cooler conditions.   A slow moving frontal system will likely give us rain some heavy Sunday afternoon into Monday.

Good morning!     Skies are mostly clear early this morning and temperatures are cold ranging from the upper 20s in Clifton down to 20 further inland, winds are light.

Today high pressure will be moving offshore as a weak low pressure approaches from the west.  Our area should see increasing clouds by this afternoon, temperatures continue well below normal with highs again only in the 40s.

The weak disturbance will likely give us some very light snow after midnight changing to rain later in the morning, little or no accumulations are expected and this snow will likely be the last snow seen this season.

Dry and not as chilly on Wednesday as high pressure builds into the area.

A warm front will be approaching the area on Thursday and should pass through Thursday night followed by much warmer air for Friday and Saturday, highs both days will rise to well up into the 70s with an 80 degree mark in some areas possible.

Sunday will continue to be quite mild but with a good chance of rain as a slow moving frontal system moves into our area.
