Good morning!   Skies are partly cloudy early this morning and temperatures range from around 30 in Clifton to the low 20s further inland, however Walpack in Sussex County is down to 18 degrees, winds across the area are from the north averaging 5-10 mph.

Low pressure will be moving well out to sea as high pressure builds into the area, we should see mostly sunny skies but it will be breezy and chilly with highs reaching the upper 40s which is about  10 degrees below normal.

Quite chilly again tonight with lows in the 20s in Clifton to the teens further inland as winds become light and with clear skies there will be considerable radiational cooling.

During the day on Monday it again be cool with increasing cloudiness in the afternoon as a weak low approaches the area.  This low will cause some very light precipitation starting off as snow Monday night before changing to rain during the day on Tuesday.

Dry with slightly milder temperatures on Wednesday.

Milder Thursday into next weekend, it should be mainly dry but a front may cause some rain showers Thursday night.

The storm system that did threaten our area with snow this weekend will remain well south of the area and we should just have mostly cloudy skies, it will be chilly with highs mainly only in the upper 40s.  A cold front came through around midnight.

After a quite chilly night Sunday should be mostly sunny but temperatures will continue to be below normal as cold high pressure builds from the midwest.

Most of Monday will be dry and cool but an area of low pressure will give us a chance of snow changing to rain late at night into Tuesday.   Some showers may persist Tuesday night.

At this time Wednesday through Friday looks to be mainly dry with a slow increase in temperatures.

Good morning everyone!   Skies have become cloudy over the region early this morning and temperatures range from the low 30s in Clifton to the low 20s further inland, there are some scattered snow showers inland, winds are light southwesterly.

A weak warm front will pass through the area this morning giving us a chance of snow showers this morning, little or no accumulation is expected.  Temperatures moderate into the 50s by this afternoon.   There is a chance of rain showers as a weak cold front passes through.  Although there is a chance of showers, most of the day should remain dry.

A low pressure area will move mainly south of the area on Saturday, there is a chance of snow or rain but at this time most of the precipitation should stay south of us.

Chilly and dry weather Sunday into Monday.

Another strong low will give us a chance of rain or snow Monday night into Tuesday.

Dry weather with milder temperatures Wednesday and Thursday.

Good morning everyone!  Skies are mostly clear early this morning and temperatures range from the low 30s here in Clifton down to the middle 20s further inland, winds are gusty out of the west up to 35 mph.

Today we will have plenty of sunshine, it will be quite windy this morning but the winds will diminish this afternoon, temperatures will be below normal with highs only in the 40s.

A weak warm front will cause skies to cloud up tonight and there is a chance of snow by tomorrow morning changing to rain by noontime, accumulations should be from a dusting up to one inch. It will be warmer during the afternoon but a cold front will cross the area late in the day.

A low pressure is expected to develop along a front to our south, latest models have most of the snow staying south of the area but has been the case lately the models come north as we get closer to the event.   At the present time 2-4 inches of snow is possible.

Dry and chilly Sunday into Monday.

Another low pressure area should give us some more precipitation late Monday night into Tuesday, at this time it looks to be a mainly rain event but it may start off as snow especially across higher elevations inland.

Finally it looks like nice spring weather will begin by the end of next week.

A strong cold front will cross the area around noon preceded by showers and milder temperatures and followed by clearing and becoming very windy with gusts to 50 mph possible into this evening.  Colder at night with only slowly diminishing winds.

Thursday will be a dry but chilly day.

A weak frontal system may give us a short burst of snow Friday morning before changing to rain.

Another storm system will give us a chance of rain or snow on Saturday followed by clearing and continued chilly weather Sunday and Monday.

A stronger storm may affect our area on Tuesday with mainly a rain event but the precipitation may start off as snow.
