Early this morning we have showers in the area along with much milder temperatures with readings in the 40s.
The shower chances diminish during this afternoon and temperatures will be quite mild reaching the upper 50s. A cold front will cross the area around midnight accompanied by more showers.
Saturday will be a dry and cool day, another Arctic cold front will be crossing the area late at night.
Sunday promises to be a very cold and windy day with temperatures not rising much above freezing and with wind gusts above 30MPH will bring wind chills down into the teens.
Near record low temperatures on Monday morning but moderate a bit during the day with much less wind.
The potential for a storm is growing for late Tuesday night into Wednesday as the American model (GFS) has now joined the European model in bringing the coastal storm up into our area. Hard to pinpoint details at the present time but it appears now that we will have significant rains along the coast with rain changing to snow inland, again it is too early to tell possible accumulations but it is something definitely to be watched for the busiest travel day of the year.
The storm will be moving away on Thanksgiving Day leaving us with a cold and windy holiday.

With clear skies and light winds temperatures have fallen to the upper 20s in the Clifton area to the upper teens in some of the colder spots to our north and west.
Today we will have partly sunny skies with temperatures a couple of degrees higher than yesterday.
Clouds will increase tonight and it won’t be as cold.
A little milder on Friday but there is a chance of rain in the morning and again later at night.
A cold front will be sweeping through the area on Saturday with showers ending in the morning.
Very cold air from Canada will be in our area on Sunday and Monday with Sunday being a very windy day with even some flurries in the area and temperatures barely reaching the freezing mark.
Monday morning we will have near record lows with temperatures falling to the teens in most areas.
A storm system is expected to develop down by the Gulf states on Tuesday and may affect our area on Wednesday, the latest American model has the precipitation offshore while the European model is indicating some heavy precipitation on Wednesday with rain along the coast and snow inland, still plenty of time to watch how this situation unfolds.
At this time Thanksgiving looks cold, breezy and dry.

After having a very windy day yesterday the winds have diminished and with mostly clear skies temperatures this morning are in the chilly 20s in most of the area.
Today will still be cool but with much less wind.
Somewhat milder on Thursday and Friday with the next chance of rain late Friday night into Saturday morning.
Very windy and cold on Sunday with the chilly weather extending into early next week.
Checking the long range a storm system is expected to move up from the Gulf of Mexico on Wednesday giving us a chance of significant rain with snow inland, of course it is hard to pinpoint details so far in advance. Thanksgiving Day at this time may be quite cold and windy once again.

After a nice mild day yesterday gusty northwest winds brought in more seasonable temperatures this morning ranging from near 40 degrees in the Clifton area to the 30s inland.
Today will be a breezy and cooler day with highs near 50. Chilly tonight with diminishing winds.
Wednesday’s highs will be a little lower than today but with lighter winds it will feel more comfortable.
Temperatures moderate Thursday and Friday with the next chance of rain will be late Friday night.
Showers will possibly continue on Saturday before another cold front swings through.
The coldest air of the season will likely be felt on Sunday and Monday.

A weakening squall line moved through around 4am giving us some heavy rain showers and brief wind gusts, most of the showers are moving offshore at the present time. It is quite mild with temperatures in the middle 50s.
Today skies will become partly cloudy, wind gusts may approach 40 MPH, temperatures will be quite mild through midday before dropping later in the afternoon.
Tonight another cold front will come through dry but colder air will follow this front.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be quite cool, winds will still be on the breezy side on Tuesday but diminish on Wednesday.
Thursday and Friday will be dry and a bit milder.
The next chance of rain will be with another cold front on Saturday, followed by much colder weather on Sunday.
