High pressure will be over us today which will give us another sunny day today with high temperatures a few degrees higher than yesterday. Dew points will still be in the comfortable 50s.

High pressure will move to our south over the weekend and we will have a southwest flow of warm air both days along with warm temperatures. There will be plenty of sunshine both days. The dew point will only slightly rise to the low 60s by Sunday.

A trough of low pressure will give us a chance of showers and thunderstorms Monday afternoon and evening. High temperatures will be a little cooler with more clouds and the humidity will be slightly higher.

Dry weather should prevail the rest of next week with near seasonable temperatures and humidity.

High pressure continued to build into our area today which will provide plenty of sunshine, low humidity and cool temperatures. Winds will be a little brisk out of the west this afternoon.

Very nice summer weather for the weekend with temperatures a little above normal, the humidity will only slightly rise with dew points in the upper 50s to low 60s.

The weather becomes more unsettled Monday through Wednesday with a little more clouds and somewhat higher humidity as dew points rise to the upper 60s. There is a chance of showers on Monday. Temperatures will be a little above normal on Monday and near normal Tuesday and Wednesday.

While we had heavy rain last night it was not as terrible as parts of Connecticut and Long Island where over 10″ of rain fell in a short time causing massive flooding.

Today should be quieter than yesterday but we will continue to have mostly cloudy skies with warm temperatures and rather high humidity. A cold front will cross the area tonight accompanied by some scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. The activity should not be as widespread as yesterday.

High pressure building from the northwest will give us partly sunny skies on Tuesday with cooler temperatures and much less humidity along with a brisk northwest wind.

Dry weather Wednesday and Thursday with highs both days in the 70s and overnight lows in the 50s. Also the humidity will be low with some dew points in the comfortable 40s.

Dry weather will continue with a slow moderation in temperatures Friday through the weekend, highs will be near normal on Friday and rise to above normal levels over the weekend.
