Very pleasant weather for the weekend as high pressure builds into the area. There will be plenty of sunshine both days with seasonably warm temperatures and low humidity as dew points fall into the low 60s.

Monday should be another warm day with continued low humidity.

A weak frontal system may touch off some showers on Tuesday followed by dry and warm weather for Wednesday.

Looking further ahead it may get quite hot Thursday through next weekend.

Weak high pressure will then build into our area on Wednesday, it will continue to be warm but a little less humid than today. There will only be a low chance of an afternoon and evening shower or thunderstorm.

Very steamy now with temperatures ranging from 76 in Clifton down to 68 at High Point, dew points are mainly in the mid 70s. Winds are light from the south. The air quality is moderate with an index of 51.

A slow moving cold front will cause considerable showers and thunderstorms today into this evening, a flood watch is in effect as 1-2 inches of rainfall is likely with higher amounts to 6 inches possible in some areas. It will be very humid with dew points in the mid 70s. Also there is a chance of severe thunderstorms.

We dry out on Monday and we should be hot with plenty of sunshine, however dew points will lower into the 60s by evening.

Another frontal system will give us a good chance of showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday and we may also see some haze again from the Canadian wildfires.
