Skies are cloudy across the area early on this Wednesday morning and temperatures range from the upper 30s in Clifton down to around 30 further inland, winds are light mainly from the northeast.

A weak disturbance will be moving well to our south but close enough to give our area cloudy skies today with a chance of light rain mainly after 9 a.m., temperatures with the clouds and precipitation will be cooler than yesterday.

High pressure will then build briefly into our area on Thursday which will give our area sunny skies and milder temperatures.

Another weak disturbance will give us another chance of rain Friday morning.

Stronger fronts in our area over the weekend will likely give us more rain mainly Saturday night into Sunday, temperatures will be above normal.

Dry with seasonably mild temperatures are expected early next week.

The low pressure that cause the rain and some snow yesterday has moved well offshore and high pressure will build into the region today giving our area mostly sunny skies after early morning cloudiness, temperatures will be mild with highs in the 50s.

Low pressure will again give us some rain on Wednesday along with cooler temperatures.

Mainly dry weather with mild temperatures Thursday and during the day on Friday.

Unsettled weather Friday night through the weekend as a couple of fronts will be near our area.

Skies are cloudy early on this Monday morning and there are some snow flurries falling in parts of the area, temperatures range from the mid 30s in Clifton to the upper 20s further inland, winds are a little brisk out of the east.

A low pressure area will move to our south and precipitation from this system will develop this morning and continue into this evening. The precipitation will fall as some snow this morning before changing to rain this afternoon, little or no accumulations expected for the Clifton area but 2-3 inches are possible over the higher terrain in northwest New Jersey, the Poconos and the Hudson Valley. Rainfall amounts will be 1 to 1 1/2 inches.

High pressure will build into the area on Tuesday giving us a partly sunny and pleasantly mild day.

More rain on Wednesday as another low pressure area moves into our area, with more clouds and precipitation it will be cooler.

After a dry day on Thursday the weather will become unsettled Thursday night through the weekend with some rain or showers possible, temperatures during this period should average above normal.

A strong high pressure will be moving off the New England coast today producing an onshore flow of cool air. The day will start off mostly sunny but we should see an increase in clouds this afternoon and become cloudy by this evening.

A low pressure area will be moving just south of us on Monday, snow from this system will begin in the morning and change to rain in the afternoon, accumulations of less than an inch is expected in the Clifton area, but a few inches can be expected over the higher terrains of northwest New Jersey and the Poconos.

High pressure will then briefly move into our area on Tuesday with milder temperatures.

Another low pressure will likely give our area more rain on Wednesday.

Unsettled weather is expected later this week into the beginning of the weekend, with a chance showers on Friday, temperatures will be seasonably mild.

The cold front that crossed the area late last night has caused tempertures to fall from the mid 60s at midnight to the mid 40s at 5 a.m. High pressure will be building into our area from the Great Lakes, we should have mostly sunny skies after early morning cloudiness. Temperatures will only slightly rise to around 50 and the winds will gradually diminish.

Tonight will be chilly with lows dropping into the upper 20s. Sunday will be a mostly sunny day but quite cool with highs in the 40s.

A low pressure is expected to move just south of our area on Monday, precipitation with this system should start off as snow in the morning before changing to rain in the afternoon. Accumulations here in Clifton will be a dusting to maybe one inch but 2-5 inches may occur over the higher elevations of far northwest New Jersey.

Brief high pressure will give us dry conditions on Tuesday with milder temperatures.

Another low pressure area should affect our area on Wednesday but this time the precipitation should be all liquid as we will have milder temperatures.

Dry and mild Thursday and Friday.
