Skies across the region are mostly clear and temperatures range from the upper teens in Clifton down to 1 degree at Sandyston in Sussex County, winds are mainly calm.

Arctic high pressure over us will move offshore today and temperatures will not be as cold as the last few days, skies will be partly sunny. It now appears the weak low pressure will remain to our south tonight so we should be dry.

A rather nice Saturday as another high pressure build into the area, high temperatures in the mid 40s and light winds will make this a much more comfortable day.

A low pressure system will give us rain mainly from midnight Saturday night until noon on Sunday, the rain may begin as a wintry mix across inland areas.

Dry weather Monday through Wednesday, temperatures will be slightly above normal on Monday and slightly below normal Tuesday and Wednesday.

Mild with a chance of rain on Thursday.

Skies are partly cloudy early on this Thursday morning and it is very cold with readings ranging from the low teens in Clifton down to a frigid -2 degrees at Sandyston, winds are mainly calm.

Today will have partly sunny conditions and there is a low chance of flurries during the day, high temperatures will be a few degrees higher than the 28 degree high temperature that was recorded yesterday.

Friday will be a little milder and a weak disturbance may cause some light snow and flurries at night.

Milder still over the weekend, Saturday will be a pleasant day as high pressure builds into the area but as the high moves offshore a low pressure area will move into our area for Sunday, rain will begin in the morning and end in the evening, some of the precipitation may start off as a wintery mix mainly over inland areas.

Dry weather Monday through the middle of the week with near normal temperatures. Normal highs are in the upper 40s.

Skies are mostly clear early on this Wednesday morning and it is again quite cold with temperatures ranging from the mid teens in Clifton to 7 at High Point, winds are from the northwest around 5-10 mph.

Arctic high pressure will continue to dominate our weather today and tomorrow with much below normal temperatures, skies will be partly to mostly sunny. There is a slight chance of flurries mainly inland both days, but most area will remain dry.

Slightly milder on Friday, there will be a slight chance of light snow in the afternoon and at night, but again most areas will remain dry.

Saturday will be a milder day along with mostly sunny skies.

A more significant low pressure will give us rain on Sunday, possibly starting off as a wintry mix well inland.

Dry weather for early next week, temperatures on Monday will be above normal but then cool to near normal temperatures on Tuesday.

Arctic high pressure will build into our area today giving us a mostly sunny day with high temperatures only reaching the freezing point.

Wednesday will be even colder with highs only in the 20s and the winds will be stronger bringing wind chills down to the single digits.

Another very cold day on Thursday with a chance of flurries, winds will be lighter.

Not as cold on Friday and a weak disturbance will give us a low chance of light snow Friday night.

Milder weather on Saturday and we should remain dry but low pressure will give us a good chance of rain on Sunday.

Skies are cloudy early on this Monday morning and temperatures range from the low 30s in Clifton down to the upper 20s further inland, winds are light. 7.5 inches of snow fell overnight.

The low pressure that gave us the heaviest snowfall of the season is moving offshore as high pressure builds into the area. We will see sunshine by later this morning and high temperatures will reach to near 40 degrees that will help melt some of the snow.

Unseasonably cold but dry weather Tuesday through Thursday as Arctic high pressure moves into our area. Wednesday will be the coldest day with highs only in the 20s and will drop down to around 10 degrees at night.

Not as cold on Friday with only a slight chance of rain or snow.

Milder for the upcoming weekend, Saturday will be dry but there is a chance of rain or snow on Sunday as a low pressure moves toward our area.
