Good morning everyone!  Skies are mostly cloudy early this morning and there are some widely scattered showers and even some snow flurries in parts of the area. Temperatures range from around 40 in Clifton to the low 30s further inland, winds are gusty out of the west.   Rainfall from this past storm here in Clifton totalled 3.63 inches.

The storm that caused record April snows to the upper midwest, tornadoes in the south and drenching rain to our area has moved up to eastern Canada. The cyclonic flow around the low will give us a brisk westerly wind along with a chance of a shower today, temperatures will be cool.

Wednesday will be a nicer day with plenty of sunshine and temperatures milder than today with less wind.

Another weaker low pressure system will give us some rain mainly Thursday morning, rainfall amounts should be less than a half of an inch.

Fair and dry weather Friday that should extend into the weekend, daily highs will start off cool but rise a couple of degrees each day.

Good morning everyone!   Rain is falling early this morning with gusty northeast winds continuing.  Temperatures range from the upper 30s in Clifton down to some freezing temperatures in the higher elevations of northwest New Jersey where there is freezing rain and snow falling.

A strong low pressure system will be moving through the area today, rain ahead of a warm front will continue this morning with rain falling heavy at times along with a few rumbles of thunder.  The warm front with this system will move to our north with northeast winds becoming southerly bringing in milder temperatures.  The rain will taper off to showers this afternoon, winds will become westerly by this evening.

The storm will be north of us on Tuesday with a cyclonic flow of cool air.

Wednesday we should see more sunshine along with somewhat milder temperatures.

Another low pressure will move into our area on Thursday giving us some showers, well inland some of the showers may be mixed with snow.

Dry weather Friday through the weekend with temperatures seasonably cool.

Good morning everyone!   Skies are cloudy early this morning and temperatures are much colder than this time yesterday with readings ranging from around 40 in Clifton to the low 30s in some areas well inland, winds are brisk out of the east.

Today will be cloudy but mostly dry however there is a chance of some drizzle. Temperatures will fall into the upper 30s this afternoon which will be more than 40 degrees colder than yesterday afternoon.  Some of the drizzle may freeze at higher elevations well inland.  Winds will be gusty out of the east make it feel even colder.

A strong low pressure system will be moving into the area with rain developing tonight and become heavy at times Monday morning with a chance of thunderstorms. The rain will taper off to showers Monday afternoon and it will not be as chilly as today.  Rainfall amounts of 2-3 inches are expected.

The low pressure will move north and east of us on Tuesday giving us chilly temperatures with clearing skies.

Mainly cool conditions Wednesday through the rest of the week.  A weaker low pressure area may give us some showers Thursday afternoon into Friday morning.

Good morning everyone!   Skies are mostly clear early this morning and temperatures are quite mild ranging from the mid 60s in Clifton down to the mid 40s in some inland areas, winds are light southerly.   Yesterday the high in Clifton was 84 degrees making this the warmest temperature since last October 4th when it also hit 84.

A strong backdoor cold front will move to our south sometime this afternoon which will drop temperatures from the upper 70s around noon down to the 40s by sunset and into the 30s by late at night.

Sunday will be a very chilly day along with some light rain or drizzle, high temperatures will only reach the 40s and with a brisk easterly wind it will feel much colder, some areas well inland may have some wintry precipitation.

Monday a strong storm will be moving into the area giving us rain heavy at times along with isolated thunderstorms, temperatures will be milder than on Sunday, expect 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inches of rain.

Tuesday will be a cool day with a chance of morning showers inland.

Mainly dry weather with slightly below normal temperatures Wednesday through the end of next week.

Good morning everyone!   It is quite mild across the area early this morning as a warm front has moved to our north, temperatures range from around 60 in Clifton to the mid 40s further inland, skies are mostly clear and there is a light southwest wind.

After weeks of chilly weather today will feature plenty of sunshine with temperatures rising to around 80, winds will be from the southwest.

Most of Saturday will be warm but a backdoor cold front will be crossing the area in the late afternoon or early evening, the NAM model continues to have the front come through earlier in the day which would limit the high temperatures with highs around 60, however most other models have it front come through later and temperatures would once again rise well up into the 70s.

Much cooler Saturday night into Sunday behind the cold front as a brisk easterly wind and cloudy skies will keep high temperatures mostly in the 40s, there is also a chance of light rain or drizzle during the day.

A strong low pressure will move into the area on Monday giving us rain heavy at times with a chance of thunderstorms, rainfall amounts of 1-2 inches are expected.

Tuesday will be chilly and breezy on the back side of the low.

Mainly dry weather for Wednesday and Thursday with near or slightly below normal temperatures.
