Good morning everyone!

Skies are cloudy early on this Tuesday morning and there is some drizzle falling in parts of the area, temperatures range from around 60 in Clifton down to the mid 50s further inland, winds are light.

A warm front will move through the area today followed by a weak cold front, we should see plenty of clouds today along with warmer temperatures and it will become more humid, showers are likely with a chance of a thunderstorm.

Warm and humid weather will continue tomorrow and on Thursday with still a chance of showers both days along with considerable cloudiness.

Hurricane Florence is expected to hit the Carolina coast on Thursday but stall over the southeast states so our weather should stay dry with seasonably warm temperatures and with moderate humidity Friday through the weekend.   The only effects with Florence in our area,  will be high seas and dangerous riptides along the coast.
