Skies are mostly clear at daybreak this morning and temperatures are milder than this time yesterday ranging from the low 40s in Clifton to the low 30s in some of the colder inland areas, winds are nearly calm.

Today we will enjoy plenty of sunshine once again with near seasonable temperatures, winds will be light.

More clouds on Monday and there is a chance of some afternoon and evening light showers, temperatures will continue to be near normal.

Plenty of sunshine Tuesday and Wednesday with slightly milder temperatures.

A low pressure system may brush the area on Thursday giving us a chance of showers with cooler temperatures.

Mostly sunny skies returns on Friday and should extend through the weekend with mild temperatures.

The latest long range computer models for the first full week of May are indicating a quite warm and dry pattern with highs averaging well up into the 70s.

Record low temperatures in many parts of the area, here in Clifton the temperature fell to 32 degrees which is a record for the date, many readings are in the 20s further inland,  skies are clear and winds are nearly calm.

Temperatures will rapidly rise today under plenty of sunshine with readings reaching the low 60s this afternoon, winds will be light and it will feel much more comfortable than the last couple of days.

The pleasant weather will continue on Sunday with highs again in the low 60s.

A weak disturbance will cause some showers on Monday, temperatures will continue to be near normal for this time of year.

Milder and dry Tuesday and Wednesday.

There is a chance of some showers on Thursday as a low pressure moves well offshore followed by clearing on Friday.

Looking ahead to the longer range it appears now that we will have warmer temperatures next weekend that will extend into the following week.

We have mostly cloudy skies early this morning and temperatures range from the mid 30s in Clifton to some upper 20s well inland, gusty winds to 25 mph is making it feel even colder.

Today will still be chilly and windy for this time of year with highs around 10 degrees below normal, we should not see any showers or snow flurries as some areas in the region reported yesterday.

After a very cool start with some frost and freezing conditions temperatures will rise closer to seasonably levels on Saturday along with plenty of sunshine.

A disturbance will be moving south and east of us on Sunday that may cause some sprinkles in the afternoon but most area will remain dry with highs slightly below normal.

Dry weather will continue through the middle of next week with a gradual warming trend.

Still looking at a possible nor-easter for the end of the week.

Skies are partly cloudy in the area on this Earth Day, temperatures range from the mid 40s in the Clifton area to some upper 30s in the colder suburbs, winds are light.

We will see an increase in clouds this morning as a cold front approaches our area with an area of showers and thunderstorms ahead of the front, these storms may be accompanied by strong gusty winds and some small hail

Clearing late tonight as high pressure builds in from the mid-west.

We will then have cool conditions Thursday through the weekend and we should stay dry, there will be a chance of frost early Friday and Saturday mornings.

Dry weather should persist into early next week with the next chance of widespread rain will be around Wednesday.
