A cloudy and cool Friday! Very pleasant weekend with a warming trend!

A low pressure system will slide off the Carolina coast today, clouds from this system will be in our area but the rain will stay well south of us, temperatures will be cool due to the cloudiness and a light onshore wind.

Rather nice spring weather is expected tomorrow and Wednesday with milder temperatures.

Low confidence forecast for the end of the week as the computer models are not in agreement with a potential nor’easter, the American model (GFS) is indicating a strong coastal low pressure system moving just offshore which would give us a windswept rain from Thursday night into Saturday morning while the European model has the system staying offshore and keeping our area dry so stay tuned.

As the system moves further offshore we can expect clearing by Saturday afternoon and Sunday should be mostly sunny with mild temperatures.

Looking ahead to the long range it still appears that next week will be quite warm and dry.
