More rain on the way for later today and Saturday! Possible nor-easter Monday night into Tuesday!

Skies are partly cloudy at daybreak this Friday morning with temperatures ranging from the upper 20s in the Clifton to some upper teens well inland, winds are light.

An area of low pressure will move into our area from the west today with clouds increasing and a chance of rain developing by late this afternoon that may start off as a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain across the Poconos and far northwestern New Jersey.  Rain will fall tonight.

Rain will persist most of Saturday into Saturday night, temperatures however will rise into the 50s.

The rain will end before daybreak on Sunday with clearing during the day but it will be windy and cooler.

Watching for the potential of a nor-easter affecting our area from Monday night through Tuesday night, some computer models have the storm well offshore and not affecting our area while the European model shows the storm in our area, at this time it appears that most of the precipitation would fall as rain, however if the storm is stronger some cold air may be pulled into our area and we could have more snow, still plenty of time to watch how this situation develops.

Dry with seasonably cold temperatures expected Wednesday and Thursday.
