Hump day showers!


Most of the showers this morning are just to our south and east and moving offshore, cloudy skies will prevail and more showers and some thunderstorms are likely this afternoon into this evening, mild and muggy with highs in the mid 70s.. Low tonight in the upper 50s.

Thursday a chance of early morning showers then partial clearing, less humid with highs near 70 degrees.

Friday and Saturday we will have mostly sunny skies and highs in the pleasant low 70s..

For the most part Sunday will be a nice and warm day with highs in the mid to upper 70s, however there is a low risk of afternoon showers..

Unsettled weather for next week with a chance of showers through mid-week but it will be mild with most highs in the low 70s..

Most of the rain this morning is up to our north and west, only a 40% chance of showers during the during the day, the high will approach 70 degrees..

Tonight showers with some thunder, low around 60.

Wednesday showers and some thunderstorms likely, mild and muggy with highs in the mid 70s.  Shower chances lowering at night…

Looks now that Thursday will become mostly sunny, breezy with a high near 70 degrees.

Very pleasant spring weather from Friday through Mother’s day with daytime highs around 70 on Friday and Saturday and then the mid 70s on Sunday..

Marine forecast: Small craft advisories issued through Wednesday and may extend into Thursday, winds a seas subsiding Friday.   Weekend looks good for boaters with sub-small craft advisory levels..

 

 

Not much sunshine the next few days!


Today will be dry but mostly cloudy with a high near 70 degrees.

Tonight a chance of showers will develop mainly after midnight lows in the lower 50s.

Tuesday showers will become likely by the afternoon with a high in the upper 60s.

A warm front will move through on Tuesday night still giving us showers and some rumbles of thunder, temperatures not falling all that much with lows around 60 degrees.

Wednesday showers and thunderstorms are likely but it will be mild and muggy with highs in the low to mid 70s..

Chances of showers persist into Thursday, bit cooler with highs in the upper 60s..

Finally by Friday the weather will improve with mostly sunny skies and a high in the upper 60s.

Weekend looks good at this point with mostly sunny conditions and highs in the low 70s.

Marine forecast.. Quiet on the ocean waters today but small craft advisories will probably be issued from Tuesday through Thursday. Good boating should prevail from Friday through the weekend..

Stuck with low clouds again this morning, sun “should” come out this afternoon!


My forecast for yesterday was for the sun coming out in the afternoon and temperatures in the 70s and that is what occurred if you were lucky enough to be in Warren County, NJ, but around here clouds persisted all day with temperatures barely made the mid 60s, so for the Clifton area the forecast was more like a train wreck.

So today we will try again, looks like the clouds will break by this afternoon, highs will be in the upper 60s..

Monday will be mostly sunny during the day with increasing cloudiness at night, highs in the low 70s.

Tuesday through Thursday a storm system moving into our area from the west will give us some rain starting early Tuesday morning, about an inch of rain is possible during this period, highs for the most part will be around 70.

Drying out Friday into the weekend with near normal temperatures, highs around 70 degrees.
