A trough of low pressure will likely cause more showers today with possible thunderstorms although the coverage of the rain should be less than the last two days.

A weak high pressure moving into our area will finally give us dry conditions and it will be less humid with near normal temperatures.

Another frontal system will likely give us more showers and possible thunderstorms both Saturday and Sunday.

Still some showers possible Monday and on the 4th as a weak trough will be near our area.

Yesterday in Clifton we received 1.25 inches of rainfall but parts of Morris County had 4-6 inches.

Today will be another humid day with a good chance of more showers and thunderstorms as a trough of low pressure is over the area.

The trough will slowly move to our east on Wednesday but still with showers likely although the coverage will be less than today.

Thursday may be the only dry day of the week with less humidity as weak high pressure moves into our area.

More mainly afternoon and evening showers are possible Friday through the weekend as more troughs of low pressure move through the area along with an increase in humidity.

Yesterday only .13″ in an afternoon thunderstorm while 1.5 to 2.5 inches fell across Woodland Park, Totowa and Wayne.

Tomorrow will be another humid day with again showers likely with a chance of thunderstorms.

Yesterday’s high temperature did not reach the upper 70s as predicted as the warm front stayed to our south. The warm front will move to our north this morning accompanied by some showers. Showers and some thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening. Temperatures will rise to around 80 with dew points in the low 70s.

We may see some sunshine on Sunday but still with a good chance of mainly afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms.

Unsettled weather much of next week with showers likely each day bit it should be somewhat drier by the end of the week.
