Skies are mostly clear early on this Wednesday morning and with calm winds there is a large range of temperatures as higher elevations are milder than the valleys, early readings range from 41 at my station in Clifton down to a chilly 19 degrees at Pequest.

High pressure to our south and west will continue to give our area mild temperatures along with plenty of sunshine today.

Nice weather for Thanksgiving Day with sunny skies, high temperatures will be slightly cooler than today. An approaching frontal system will cause an increase in clouds at night.

The frontal system will likely give us rain mainly in the afternoon and evening, rainfall amounts should be under 1/4 of an inch.

High pressure will give us a nice and mild day on Saturday but another stronger frontal system will likely cause rain on Sunday, rainfall amounts will average between 1/2 and 1 inch.

Dry weather with near seasonably temperatures can be expected for Monday and Tuesday.

After having much below normal temperatures the last few days, today will be closer to normal with highs in the low 50s along with light winds and plenty of sunshine as high pressure builds from the south and west.

Dry weather will continue Wednesday through Thanksgiving Day with again plenty of sunshine, light winds and seasonably mild temperatures.

A frontal system will likely give us some mainly light showers Friday afternoon and at night, temperatures will continue to be seasonably mild.

After a dry and seasonably mild Saturday a stronger low pressure area will give us a good chance of rain on Sunday followed by a dry day on Monday.

High pressure to our south and east will give us plenty of sunshine today and it will not be as harsh as yesterday with temperatures a few degrees higher but still well below normal with highs mainly in the low 40s. Winds will still be a little brisk in the afternoon but not nearly as windy as yesterday.

Very pleasant fall weather tomorrow through Thanksgiving Day with plenty of sunshine each day and seasonably mild temperatures.

A storm system will likely give our area rain Friday with a chance of showers on Saturday, temperatures will continue to be seasonably mild.

A cold front will cross the area this morning with a surge of much colder air for today. Winds will pick up from the west-northwest gusting to 35 mph and with highs only in the 30s will make it feel much colder despite plenty of sunshine.

After a very chilly morning on Monday, with lows well down into the 20s it will become slightly milder during the day with mostly sunny skies, winds will still be a little brisk but not as strong as today.

Finally milder weather is expected Tuesday through Thanksgiving Day along with dry conditions, highs will be mostly in the low 50s each day.

Rain is likely on Friday that may briefly start off as some sleet or snow well inland before changing to rain.

At this point next weekend looks to be dry with near seasonable temperatures.

High pressure building into our area from the west will give us sunny skies today with quite cool temperatures and it will be a little breezy with gusts to 20-25 mph.

Sunday will feel like a mid-winter like day with cold temperatures with highs staying in the 30s and with winds gusting 30-35 mph will bring wind chills down to the teens.

After a cold and dry Monday we should see a moderation in temperatures Tuesday through Thanksgiving Day with highs each day near 50 degrees.

A low pressure system will give us a good chance of rain on Black Friday that may briefly begin as frozen precipitation well inland.
