Today will be a mostly sunny day and it will be breezy and cooler with high temperatures near normal mainly in the upper 40s. Winds will diminish by late in the day.

High pressure will be in control of our weather this weekend and we will be dry with temperatures again near seasonable levels.

Monday will be unseasonably mild with highs in the 60s and showers will be likely as the warm front moves to our north early Monday morning followed by a cold front Monday evening.

High pressure on Tuesday will give us dry and cool conditions.

Another frontal system will likely give us rain Wednesday into early Thursday, some of the precipitation may be mixed with snow especially on Wednesday morning.

A warm front will pass to our north this morning associated with some light rain that should end around dawn. Skies will remain mostly cloudy but temperatures will rise into the 50s. A cold front will come through the area tonight with only a low chance of a shower.

Friday will be sunny but high temperatures will be around 10 degrees lower than today.

Mainly dry and seasonably cool weather is expected for the weekend.

A storm system will likely give us rain on Monday along with mild temperatures.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny and cooler as high pressure builds into our area.

Another frontal system may give us more rain on Wednesday.

CLIFTON’S CLIMATE SUMMARY FOR NOVEMBER 2021.

The month was slightly cooler than normal with an average temperature of 44.8 degrees. The highest temperature was 73 on the 9th, lowest temperature 27 recorded on the 30th. The month was quite dry with only 1.63 inches falling which was the 7th driest since my records began in 1973. Snowfall was a trace.

CLIMATE FOR FALL 2021. Temperatures and precipitation averaged well above normal due to quite warm and wet conditions during September and October.

Weak high pressure will give us a dry and partly sunny day and after highs only in the 30s the last 3 days today the highs will be well up into the 40s and with light winds it will feel more comfortable. A weak warm front may cause some showers late tonight into tomorrow morning, some of the showers may be mixed with snow across inland sections of northwest New Jersey.

Thursday will be a mild but breezy day, a cold front will cross the area late in the day but we should see no precipitation with the front.

Friday should be a mostly sunny and breezy day with seasonably cool temperatures.

The weekend looks to be mainly dry with near seasonable temperatures continuing.

A somewhat stronger frontal system will give us a chance of showers Sunday night into Monday along with milder temperatures.

Dry and cooler on Tuesday as high pressure builds into our area.
