Skies are mainly clear early on this Sunday morning and temperatures are colder than the last few mornings with readings ranging from the mid 30s in Clifton down to the low 20s further inland. Even though it is colder it is still slightly above normal for this time of day. Winds are mainly calm.

High pressure will be over our area and then move off the coast this afternoon, we should have mostly sunny skies with temperatures slightly above normal in the mid 50s.

Strong low pressure will give us rain heavy at times beginning near daybreak on Monday and become heavy at times through Monday evening with even a chance of thunderstorms. Strong southeast winds will gust to near 40 mph. Temperatures will be quite mild with highs in the 60s. Rainfall amounts of 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inches are likely.

Still a chance of showers on Tuesday with cooler temperatures.

Mainly dry Wednesday through Friday with near seasonable temperatures.

Another strong storm is possible next weekend.

A weak cold front will cross the area this morning just associated with some cloudy skies and a slight chance of a sprinkle. It should become mostly sunny this afternoon. High tempertures will be cooler than the last couple of days but stay above normal with readings in the mid 50s.

Another nice day on Sunday, skies will be mostly sunny in the morning but we should see an increase in clouds by late in the day as high pressure moves off the coast.

Monday will be stormy with heavy rain and strong winds especially in the afternoon and at night. Rainfall amounts of 1-2 inches are possible along with southeast winds gusting to 45 mph.

The rest of next week will be mainly dry with temperatures at or slightly below normal.

Yesterday in Clifton the 65 degree temperature was the second warmest Thanksgiving since my records began in 1973, 66 degrees was the warmest set in 2007.

Today we will have a mix of clouds and sunshine as a weak cold front approaches from the west, temperatures will be mild again with highs near 60.

Dry weather to persist through the weekend with slightly cooler temperatures but still milder than normal as high pressure dominates.

A rather strong low pressure will develop to our west on Monday with a strong and moist south-southeast wind. Rain is expected to be heavy at times Monday afternoon through Monday night with 1 -2 inches of rain possible.

Some showers are possible on Tuesday with cooler temperatures.

Cool and dry weather is expected Wednesday and Thursday.

Low pressure over the Great Lakes with a frontal system extending from the low will cause a southerly flow of mild and moist air. Rain heavy at times this morning will taper off to showers before ending early this afternoon, there may even be a rumble or two of thunder. Temperatures will be unseasonably mild with highs in the 60s.

Dry weather is expected Friday through the rest of the weekend, temperatures will average slightly above normal.

Another low pressure system will likely give us more rain early next week.

High pressure offshore will give us a southerly flow of milder air today along with mostly sunny skies. Clouds will increase tonight and it will remain mild.

A low pressure system will cross our area on Thanksgiving with rain developing before daybreak and mainly ending by early in the afternoon. It will be quite mild with highs near or slightly above the 60 degree mark.

Dry weather should persist Friday through Sunday, temperatures will be above normal Friday and Saturday and near normal on Sunday.

Another storm system will give us a good chance of rain early next week followed by colder weather for the start of December.
