The low pressure area that gave our area rain yesterday has moved well out into the Atlantic and intensified into a major storm. High pressure will build into the area today and we will have clearing by mid morning, it will be breezy today with seasonably cool temperatures. Note – If the storm was about a couple of hundred miles closer to us we would be dealing with a major snowstorm.

As the high pressure moves slowly offshore a southwest flow will develop on Sunday and dominate our weather through Monday giving us mostly sunny days and unseasonably mild temperatures, high temperatures on Monday may approach the 70 degree mark.

A couple of weak fronts will then affect our weather Tuesday and Wednesday, giving us a chance of showers Tuesday afternoon and at night and again Wednesday night. With more clouds temperatures will be cooler but still above normal.

Dry weather with continued above normal temperatures are expected Thursday and Friday.
