Skies are cloudy early on this Monday morning and there is some light rain falling, temperatures range from the upper 30s in Clifton down to the low 30s further inland, winds are light from the south.

A frontal system moving into the area will cause periods of rain today, temperatures will rise into the 50s but there will be a brisk southerly wind.

Tonight will be quite mild with overnight lows staying in the 50s. There may be a break in the precipitation Tuesday morning and temperatures will climb to above 60 degrees. A cold front will cross the area Tuesday night causing showers in the afternoon and night.

Rain will change to snow before ending Wednesday morning, at this time it appears that accumulations will be 1-2 inches with higher amounts to our north and west.

Colder on Thursday as high pressure builds into our area.

The next storm system will affect our area late Friday night into the weekend but it should be milder so any precipitation should be in the form of rain.

Strong high pressure over our area this morning will slowly move off the coast and we will enjoy a mostly sunny day with highs a couple of degrees higher than yesterday. Tonight will not be as cold and we should see an increase in cloudiness.

A warm front will move through the area on Monday with rain showers and even a chance of a rare December thunderstorm, rain will become heavy at times especially Monday afternoon and night.

There may be a lull in the precipitation Tuesday morning and temperatures will rise to near 60. A cold front will cross the area Tuesday night and the precipitation may chance to snow before ending Wednesday morning, some accumulations are possible especially more inland.

Dry and cold weather Wednesday afternoon through Friday.

Another frontal system will give us a chance of rain possibly beginning as snow on Saturday.

High pressure building from the midwest will give us a mostly sunny and cold day, winds will be a little gusty early this morning but will diminish by late morning.

The high pressure will be over the area Sunday morning then move off the coast. After a cold morning temperatures will moderate in the afternoon, skies will continue to be mostly sunny.

A slow moving frontal system will be moving into the area on Monday and affect our weather through Wednesday morning. Temperatures will be mild Monday and Tuesday with showers, the rain may be heavy at times. The front is expected to move to our east Tuesday night with colder air moving in so the precipitation may change to snow before ending early Wednesday morning.

Dry and cold weather is then expected Wednesday afternoon through Friday.

Today high pressure will be moving off the coast as a cold front approaches from the west, skies will be mostly cloudy and temperatures will be somewhat milder today with high tempertures near normal. The front will come through tonight with no precipitation expected.

Our weekend weather will be dry, temperatures will be cold on Saturday but be a little milder on Sunday as high pressure moves off the coast.

Monday and Tuesday will be quite mild but quite wet also with rain showers that will likely be heavy at times.

A cold front will cross the area late Tuesday night, Wednesday through Thursday will be colder and mainly dry except for possible snow flurries Wednesday morning.

No significant snowstorms are indicated on the computer models for at least another two weeks.

Weak high pressure moving into our area will give us partly sunny skies today, it will be breezy with temperatures slightly below normal.

A weak cold front on Friday will cause mostly cloudy skies, temperatures will be a couple of degrees milder than today. There is a slight chance of a shower but most places will stay dry.

Cold and dry on Saturday with temperatures moderating somewhat on Sunday after a chilly overnight.
